Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you order a speech or service from All Speeches Great and Small, a limited company registered in England and Wales (registered name Allspeeches Ltd, company number 09583005), based in East Sussex, United Kingdom. The service is provided by Adrian Simpson. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

1. The service

We write bespoke, original speeches (best man, groom, bride, father of the bride, maid of honour, mother and sister of the groom, brother of the bride, after-dinner, corporate and others) and eulogies. Every speech is written from scratch around the material you provide. We do not use templates or resell speeches.

2. Ordering and payment

  • The price is £399 for a bespoke wedding speech, eulogy or speech review, and from £499 for an after-dinner speech (confirmed before work begins).
  • Payment is taken in full, up front, when you book. Work begins once payment is received.
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we don’t see or store your full card details.

3. What’s included

  • A complete, written, ready-to-deliver speech built around your material.
  • Unlimited revisions until you are happy, within the scope of the original brief.
  • A typical first-draft turnaround of around 7 days (last-minute work is often possible).

“Unlimited revisions” means refining and improving the agreed speech, not repeatedly rewriting it from scratch for a completely different occasion or person.

4. Your part

To write your speech we rely on the information you give us. You confirm that the material you share is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you’re entitled to share it. We’re not responsible for factual errors arising from incorrect information provided to us.

5. Cancellations and refunds

  • Because this is a bespoke service made to your specification that begins as soon as you book and pay, your statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations does not apply once work has started, which you acknowledge by ordering.
  • If you cancel before any work has started, we’ll refund you in full.
  • If you cancel after work has started, any refund is at our discretion and considered case by case, taking into account the work already carried out. We’ll always aim to be fair.
  • We stand behind our work: if something isn’t right, we keep revising until it is.

6. Intellectual property

Once your speech is fully paid for, the final speech is yours to use for your occasion. We retain the right to use anonymised, non-identifying extracts as examples of our work unless you ask us not to.

7. Confidentiality

We treat your material and your speech as confidential and will not share identifying details with anyone outside the service without your consent.

8. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for how a speech is received or delivered on the day, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
